Everything DiSC® 363 for Leaders


This wonderful tool from Inscape Publishing collects, summarizes, and provides 360E feedback from a leader’s:

  •  Manager,
  •  Subordinates,
  •  Peers,
  •  Others (like customers). 

It compares this feedback with the leader’s own self-assessment and norms from a national sample.


DiSC 363 for Leaders concentrates on the interpersonal aspects of leadership.  It combines research into leadership theory and practice with the highly-effective DiSC model of interpersonal behavior to make the feedback useful and easy-to-understand and act upon.  It is administered over the internet with the use of access codes.  There is a single price to produce a profile for the leader regardless of how many raters participate — 5 or 25 raters, it makes no difference!  In order to preserve anonymity, there must be a minimum of two raters for each of the subordinate and peer groups and the “other” group if it is used.  To provide specific feedback and avoid inappropriate comments, DiSC 363 uses a large number of pre-worded comments that raters select.


The leader receives a 22+ page color/graphic report that contains charts of the ratings given by the different groups.  It divides that information along eight approaches to leadership to make interpretation easier.  The eight approaches are:

  • Pioneering
  • Energizing
  • Affirming
  • Inclusive
  • Humble
  • Deliberate
  • Resolute
  • Commanding

A unique feature of the system is its ability to generate an additional coaching report.  The report  helps the coach work with the leader to interpret the feedback on the DiSC 363 for Leaders report.  The coaching report is also backed up with a web site that includes tutorials on how to use it when working with a leader.  Coaches need to be familiar with the DiSC model.
